Examples and inspiration

To get a better idea of the differences that I am talking about, you can check out these examples. (There are quite a few BTS examples because they are my biggest inspiration for this topic HAHA)

These examples are of songs which are performed in two ways, with Korean vocal techniques and with Western vocal techniques.

Ps. On a side note, when I am referring to Korean Singers and Western Singers I am referring to are most singers of Popular Music from Korea and the US and UK (I am not trying to overgeneralise but I realised there is a trend and that is why I am doing my assignment on this topic!)

To know more about the different vocal techniques you can check this page out to see what I am referring to.

Example 1: Someone Like You

Korean singing techniques used by BTS Member V to present a different version of this song.

Adele's original version done with popular Western singing techniques.

Example 2: TT
